Ohio Midwife

Ohio Midwife provides comprehensive, individualized midwifery care for families choosing an out-of-hospital birth experience. Emily E. Schultz, LCPM offers care from early pregnancy through six weeks postpartum, including prenatal visits, planned home birth support, postpartum care, and newborn care. Care is centered around physiologic pregnancy and birth, informed decision-making, education, nutrition, and ongoing evaluation of maternal and fetal well-being. Services may include laboratory and ultrasound ordering, prenatal screening options, birth preparation, breastfeeding support, newborn screening, and referrals to trusted professionals when additional care is needed. With more than 20 years of experience attending births, Emily provides highly personalized, relationship-based care designed to help families feel informed, supported, confident, and deeply connected throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.
